In any event it would not matter if we did have 100% in Australian shares.
The fundamental is simple.
The fund receives less income hence reduces. The members are required to take a larger percentage of the fund as they age, don't remember the progression except that it is 14% @ 90 years of age, so the fund shrinks at a rapid rate.
The members eventually get the OAP and all the benefits that go with it
