I would assume that if the capper is WPL then this quarter is where they will indeed have to make their move.
FAR will abstain from the vote to move operatorship to WPL which could cause grief for the JV and Senegal moving forward.
Reserves will be booked for all the JV partners which will justify the value of the WPL offer.
WPL will have got finance organized.
Samo will be a bonus.
Full value of FAR for the takeover could be justified at reserves valuation of approximately 100% premium to the weighted average of the last few months...ie 24c
After Samo it may be better or it may be worse for WPL.
It rids WPL of the PE monkey.
