BugGold, if it's TARP money on the long side then that is a level of corruption that would simply blow my mind. Given though that the supposed manipulation has been going on alot longer than the commencement of the bailouts, surely it can't be TARP money.

Having said that, however, the only way for Goldman Sachs and JPMorganChase to continually profit from their gold short positions (while the counter parties lose money) is if the counter parties have a limitless supply of cash, and the only segment of the US financial system that has a limitless supply of cash is, none other, than the Fed Reserve.
