What time are BPAY payments processed?
For Payments made before 6:00pm on business days.........
The biller is required (under BPAY® rules) to treat your payment as being received on that same day.
Which makes Bpay a very good way to pay your CR money right up until 6pm on business days. I double checked this by phoning up both my bank and the share register. They both confirmed that I was indeed correct in my assumption. In my case I did my Bpay transaction in a timely fashion (with absolute confidence) at 10 am.
I could have hung on even longer to see if I could buy for a bit less on market as stated by some wags. A few dollars worth actually went through days earlier at 10.5 cents, but this was just a last desperate attempt to shake the tree by shorters. Shares were still a rock solid 11 cents on market, plus brokerage of course, still.............. BACK OF THE NET LADS, BAAAACK OF THE NET
