BTW if you want to look at other trials of antiviral drug which have got emergency approval in Japan and FDA is considering presumably needing new av drugs in US with Paxlovid poor efficacy 51% in vaxed and Lagevrio no longer recommended

You will note that the new av drug treatment ENSITRELVIR appears to work in 4 days and the placebo cleared covid in 5 days which shows that in the Viraleze UK NHS trial placebo trial over 7 days it made testing for efficacy in under 45yrs impossible

From the ensitrelvir placebo based trial-

“Most of the participants had received at least 2 doses of a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. Everyone was treated within 3 days of developing symptoms like cough, fever, and sore throat and took either ensitrelvir or placebo for 5 days. People who were treated with the antiviral had symptoms for about 4 days, whereas those who received the placebo recovered in about 5 days, the researchers reported in JAMA Network Open.”
