Looking briefly IMO it is easy to see flaws in this study design especially in regards to if people caught COVID while wearing the mask or from family when not etc. Large cultural differences between countries and way people interact as well and far to many external influences.. The same flaws would also be apparent IMO in regards to doing it with viraleze , viraleze with mask ,mask and no mask no viralze.
Have a look at what study design others trying to get nasal strays are using long with animal model to prove effectiveness especially against covid not just invitro
