Apparently, there is a lack of evidence published in reputable peer reviewed journals regarding efficacy of the Chinese and Russian vaccines. So, to hear that they are not as effective as other vaccines is disappointing but unfortunately not super surprising.
However, the vaccines available in Australia are a different story, thankfully.
So, how do we get out of this?
Get vaccinated as soon as you can and then get a booster when advised to do so.
Continue to follow the physical distancing, mask wearing and hand washing advice provided by the Australian Departments of Health
Follow lock down and quarantine rules
Get tested if you have any symptoms or have been in a transmission site (as instructed by local authorities)
