Upcoming exploration

Just in case anyone missed it, a new short interview was released (just click on the 'Corporate Spotlight' link above.
The only info I found new/interesting was the mention of green/brownfields exploration becoming a focus now that the 5 main pits have been drilled out as per the original plan from last year. A budget of $5m (I am assuming to be spent over the next 9-12 months) is available and they are starting at Mt Ida (current resource of 320k at 13.8 g/t - 140k ounces. There are other targets nearby, but... as the MD points out, its a great initial target and whilst he does not say it, if the drill bit is successful, they could have a very high grade U/G operation able to to truck to the plant.

Although I am just as interested in the green field targets that we will hopefully get more information on in the coming months.

Although if you only look at Wikipedia, it paints a picture of a deposit that never got minded properly.

I note that the grade was improving when they close the mine due to funding issues. So hopefully that will mean any potential re-entry at a later stage will be capex light.
