    The following quote from the article:
    "The French 'no' should not have come as a big surprise to anyone and IMO is quite a non-event."

    I'm sorry to say, but it did come as a big surprise. The French were expected to vote yes.

    Strange, the PM resigned. The President is potentially now lame (short, or longer term), and the talk is now of scrapping the Constitution.

    Other States that have voted for the Constitution did so in parliamentary votes, not in public votes /referendums.

    The A$, for your information, is currently now below 75c.
