In the whole scheme of things $1.1 billion AUD is chicken feed for the European, Japanese and US car industries not even including other uses of NdPr. You could look at Arafura alone on the basis of an insurance policy of supply just in case Lynas hit trouble in Malaysia in the future. EV hasn’t even got going yet and Lynas have ramped up supply to meet Japanese demand. What about Europe? The US? We need some more OT potential this year not 2020. We need to start building next year.
