What's the difference between a tax and a bribe? If a tax / royalty scheme is in place, that gives them a bigger incentive to support/ approve the project.
i believe it still has to go to the house of representatives
none the less, the proposed amount seems very reasonable. I'm sure all our neighbours, KinRoss, Barrack & Nova gold will be watching and lobbying in our interest. Who knows, any revenue raised could support infrastructure - roads and power?
