Any cartons of Winnie Blues there as well? He could punch out a dart or 10 that’s for sure, ultimately claiming his life much earlier than it should.
Tommy was old school and probably wouldn’t be accepted coming through the NRL ranks these days, he started a blue every game by the sound of it. My mate played first grade at West’s when Tommy was coach and said he was awful and it showed with the lack of results. They had some fun but as a young player he was lucky enough to be signed by Newcastle and play under a more professional structure.
