In 1974 I did my thesis among other issues on Solar energy development. In those days in Denmark there was already a big push to combat climate change. Although in its infancy most Danes believed that the future of energy and the combat against carbon emitters had to be in renewables. Then you would hear other respected scientists like David Attenborough ring the alarm bells of our need to change the ways we emitted carbon into the future. Yet here we are nearly 50 years later and the carbon emitters has managed to corrupt Government officials and other power-hungry legislators that we are doing our best to combat the warnings that every climate scientist could forecast to be dire. Even today the COP 27 culprits still manage to hold the rest of the world hostage. Just look at Qatar and Saudi Arabia facilitating astronomical projects like the Soccer World Cup and "The Line" Which they claim to be Environmental friendly Projects. But when analyzed those projects are the worst contributor in terms of Carbon Emission. We have been fooled by the carbon industry to think that they are our friends when in fact all that matters to them is Money and Power.
Money Talks is all I can say. They want all their Monuments for the future Generation to see. But at what cost????. AIMO GD
