Much better to do a underpowered mandatory study with IMO poor protocols just to try and stop removal of product when EU brexit grandfathering expires and also argue with TGA MHRA while opportunity disappears and any trial then has slow recruitment - that is a great strategy and results are not a surprise as the market has shown. The $ spent on consultants , fines lawyers and time wasted , KPI paid all add up and are opportunity lost

Col Can't blame TGA as they can only process what is in front of them. We don't know what was put in front of them or when nor responses from both sides . Blame SPL at every stage IMO. SPL IMO had a choice early on and still may do simple flu trials and at least have it available and consumers will have had the opportunity to buy it but would be lost in a sea of products unless well marketed.
