Yes I think regardless of if it works or not unless you can put forward a example rather than a invitro ro animal trial it will be a nard to market product. People are well wary and much more aware in 1st world countries and like to see human trial data ( even if they don'tunderstand 99% of it) and are sick of seeing statements wit astrix against every claim.
