    Have never said bauxal is alum. Both contain Al ions which precipitate out phosphorus, so adding bauxal to an STP will reduce phosphorus to some extent, but not to levels required by standards in most countries.
    If not Byron, where was it?

    This seems to be a mates deal at the Byron Bay sewage treatment plant. All STP's use alum to remove phosphorus, the sewage is passed through an alum wash. So of course Viro would remove phosphorus since it is alum. Doesn't seem to prove anything. No-one is going to buy Viro to remove phosphorus because they are already set up with alum washes and alum is cheaper than Viro



    wanchai, viro is bauxsol technology, just small diff in % of the ingredients
