the AFR on Monday (I think) said a decision from the Competition regulators in Australia and NZ was expected Thursday and it was expected they would initially say no (and would ask for further undertakings). But your news is more recent so it should be interesting. Bad news for commuters who travel Aust-NZ : prices will only rise unless Virgin or someone else decides to compete.
