In the past I have invested on emotion only to be left feeling nervous and anxiously awaiting any announcement.

Just be prepared for whatever the announcement be whenever it comes.

Imho with your state of mind, if the ann is good get out. If the ann is bad, get out.

One way or another, give yourself a break from the market.
