Because investing in FAR prior to any announcement about Shell exercising or not their option is to a large degree a make it or break it punt, I think there will be many investors who are more risk adverse that will be waiting for positive news before taking a position in FAR.
Therefore IMO I would have expected that this could drive the sp higher on a positive announcement than normal and also consolidate at a level due to more investors getting set for the drill
