i hope you're right, but i think what we've learnt in the last few years is that the worlds farmers still have plenty of scope to increase production. the pricing signals were there to produce, so produce they did and see how stocks to use blew out. i guess conversely tho, we shall see another short term spike in a year or two as farmers react to current prices and reduce plantings and inputs and so the rollercoaster ride will continue.
oh and crops looking above average in this part of vic, my later crops are currently flowering, soil moisture isn't too bad and looking forward no serious frost risk in sight, but yeah, not expecting high protein come harvest time.
