Hi guys
A useful article posted by jhamann on the ZFX thread which I thought should be here too.
http://greatinvestmentarticles.blogspot.com/2006/08/chinas-zinc-demand-to-increase-56-by.html
This partly addresses the question of what might happen to Chinese demand with a US slowdown. It seems clear to me that there are domestic economic forces in play, industrialisation and urbanisation, that will continue even with US slowdown. General forecasts seem to see China's growth slowing to single digits - typically around 8%! ie double most of the west. That's 8% compounding of course.
