Nonsense. Do you think there are only two possible positions on politics? or only two moral stances you can support? If you agree with an idea on the left and also an idea on the right, must you reject one of those ideas just because of its association? which one and why?

If you are a moderate on either left or right you are by default propping up the radicals on your side i.e. people with ideas you might see as extremely dangerous. So you are standing up for principals you don't hold. Does that make you a better person?
