Accusations of emotivism, confirmation bias, pride etc, can equally be applied to anyone, even your good self, love! Why not have a look at the language and words that you use and subject yourself to the same kind of assessment? Or do you believe you're beyond that kind of reproach? (You sure sound like you do!) Or better still, you could just focus on the substantive matters instead of concerning yourself with psychoanalysis and committing ad hominem fallacies. Because none of that stuff bears on the substance of your argument, which from what I gather is that you believe "this wont continue". You believe that "when vivagel hits the market, the dep-docetaxel Phase 1 data is released and we get some cashflow from AZ"... that "new participants" will "move in to take the shares from the fatigued long termers"... and you're confident that this will give you that re-rate that all you and the rest of the wide-eyed/pink-eyed holders are hoping for?
Well, I certainly don't disagree with you that shares will inevitably change hands in that manner. In fact that is precisely what I think happened in January after SPL announced that the FDA fortuitously shifted the goalposts and thereby transformed the 2012 phase 3 defeat into a victory! And what was the result of that? In terms of SP that is?! Well maybe the sell-down from 88c to 64c is just a temporary short term blip. Surely its not indicative of genuine long term market sentiment, right? Perhaps this is the year where it all finally comes together! Where we all bring home the SPL bacon! Who knows? I'm certainly not saying I do!
BTW - It's interesting how you disparage the placebo group by attributing their result to a "miracle" because vivagel couldn't do any better! And you are at pains to assert that this doesn't imply that vivagel "stopped working" too! But wasn't the whole point of the experiment to figure out if vivagel started working in the first place? And isn't the key piece of evidence for that, a statistically significant result which was not achieved in the context of the 21 day end point? Which in a practical sense is as good as not working is isn't it? I mean maybe SPL could try and market those "miraculous" placebos too (which would give a much needed boost to in numbers of drug candidates they have!)
I mean if you're resting on the laurels of - "it's not that it doesn't work, it DOES work! Just not any better than placebo treatments!" Hahaha that's pretty funny! Remember what I said about confirmation bias a couple of paragraphs ago? Remember what I said about rose coloured glasses a few posts ago? Of which this may be evidence? Perhaps? Maybe? Dare I suggest? Love?
You then say "a catalyst will occur" and that will cause a re-rate. Well it seems the activation energy wall is pretty high on this one. It's gonna take a pretty darn good enzyme to lower it. And we're still waiting around for the reactants to come to the party aren't we?! And of course we're certain of the kinds of products we'll get from this biochemical reaction too aren't we? Maybe not certain, but confident! Confident enough to perhaps buy more at these current "bargain basement" prices, right? To "put our money where out mouth is" as they say. Or just quietly confident enough to hold for now?!
Actually you did pose the question "will this happen tomorrow or next week or next month?" And then you answered it yourself with "I do not know but it will happen" - Bahahahahaha! This reminds me of that shampoo commercial they had years ago! Anyway it's good to see confidence tempered by the humility of being able to question yourself! And why are you confident enough to declare "I do not know but it will happen"? - Because part of the reason is that you've been in "the game" for 2-3 years and during that time you saw some other stock (VLA was it?) do well?! And of course being so astute to the risk of confirmation bias and emotivism I'm sure you would have also noticed the stocks that did not perform so well too, right?
Anyway, this forum is a lot more fun than the ghost down that is the BNO forum. I don't have anything further to say about BNO. I've posted in that forum and people can check it out if they wish. And my mouth appreciates your sympathies too by the way. But it's saying "don't worry love" because it only gets sour when I make a loss. In fact given that you're so interested in the inner workings of my mind and particular parts of my body, I'll let you in on a little bit of the inner workings. After all these years, I'm happy to take a profit, any profit! Whether its 20% or 30%. And if I jag anything above 100% I give thanks to the planets! If I jag anything above 500% I consider that a miracle. I'm not under any illusions about my abilities in this game! The kind of experimental rigours that are applied in clinical trials, when applied to trialing your own predictive abilities, tend to have a humbling effect, I find.
