So now we know Viraleze is selling for £15, which is $26.78 on today's exchange rate. This places it as priced half way between what I estimated as being a niche market product and overpriced. We should know in a few weeks what sort of future Viraleze has. My gut feel only as I am always looking for a bargain. I did make a basic mistake in my original description of use. I forgot we have two nostrils! So my original calculation of 80 puffs at 4x/day needs to be halved from 20 days max usage to only 10 days per puffer. Hmmmm. Does this sound like a good deal for continued use? For bulk deals with govt yes but for individuals....?
I hope the general market place is looser with their cash than me. So I will be very interested in early results. However even modest sales as presented by one poster does produce some reasonable results. Only four million worldwide to produce retail revenue over $100 million. That would be okay. But how long and how many markets to enter to get there?
I think Lloyds online marketing is pretty good, front and centre, but once again and no doubt due to approval and legal reasons the language used undersells the product. Case in point:

To me this is saying the complete opposite to what it is. What measures? Any measure to control the spread including PPE is a control measure in my book. Is Viraleze PPE? Sure is. Just shows this is sensitive. SPL doesn't want to or need to *** off governments all over the world who are spending billions on vaccines supplied by big pharma to be trumped by some piddly little nasal spray. It's not a substitute but it is complementary.
Regardless of the short term results they should persist with Viraleze because media and spokespeople are already starting to talk about life post vaccine. Vaccines mostly reduce symptoms and won't remove the virus from the community. Covid-19 could become the new flu and be ever-present with more virulent strains. Yes vaccines could be outdated in 12 months. Step up Viraleze. It could be a slow burn but once in the market might gather legs eventually.
