I put in a very very low bid for SLR the other day on the expectation that they would continue the take down today and maybe tomorrow.

But the steepness of the take down makes me wonder if the paper market will decouple from the physical. They can trash it to $1,3/200 oz but will physical holders and miners be willing to sell at that level? Everybody that should know knows the selling is of non backed paper gold and if delivery had to actually be made gold quickly be mid $2k in a hurry as they would have to go and procure it for real.

Strange things afoot...will we see the Comex blow up? Will there be a rush to collect physical holdings from vaults...
