My main holding is a small gas explorer, Metgasco (MEL), has been in the 'wars' for the last few years unfortunately :)

I expect that it will be a takeover target in the medium term and have built (and building) a position in this one. Maybe, it might, just might, not get taken over and go on to be a little company that makes profits and pays a few franked dividends :)......I can only dream.

MEL still has to deal with some greenies, un-strand the gas and get some little GSAs into the coffers - headwinds still there but the little engine is puffing!!!!! I hope it can, I think it can..........

If it goes down the tubes it will hurt only a bit, well, a bit more than a bit, but, if it does get taken over it will be a year changer but not life changing.
