so what do you see as their traditional base KP? the old Liberals had a very broad base but this has narrowed to be far right and no longer liberal.

I think the Nats are contemplating either a repositioning of the seniority to enable the Nats to have a greater say in the coalition, or possibly benefitting from a dissolution of the coalition.
