How sad that your parents appear to use ' inheritance ' as a weapon to get their way, so sad for them.

Unless somebody is prepared to jump in my box in place of me when I die, they don't have a right to try and make me do anything. Waving money / assets around as an inducement that only pass on death is so, so sad.

Good for you and your brother, money can't buy self respect.

I hope they learn before it is too late.
