I should add on this beautiful suunny Saturday afternoon, that when we small traders throw a few cents at the stock market we are looking for a retun within a fairly short time frame.
When BHP, the world's biggest mining conglomerate invests several billion dollars in a mine or oil well, it's not looking at tomorrow's share price or next week's production.
It's doing it to be in a position to cater for future demand, perhaps years down the track, as the global polulation grows and becomes urbanised.
