Ian Chalmers was interviewed in local Dubbo paper today in relation to issue of Mining Lease and construction startup.
Summary of critical points
- mining lease hoped to be issued in a "few weeks"
- 46km water pipeline expected to be completed in March
- to start construction prior to water pipeline completed would require the company to "import water for dust control"
- delays to push production out to December or possibly January 2014
My take is that construction won't start until water pipeline is finished.
