I don't know where you get off coming on here with your high falutin logic and common sense.
It's still a wait and see approach. Personally I would be hoping for any new announcements to come out after the immediate dust has settled on the US election. If people want traction from an announcement, releasing show stopping data a week either side of the election is not the optimal time to do so.
