I don't have much skill at all in medical research which gives me a bit of an opportunity at night to watch shows on Netflix. The series I have been watching is "New Amsterdam", which is a public hospital (fictional I suppose) in New York. In the final episode the other night a young boy was identified as having DMD. He was assessed for entering a trial but rejected because his DMD had progressed too far. (he could not stand up within a 10 second time limit). His parents were then told by the very experienced and brilliant Medical Director of the hospital, who had been responsible for many miracle cures for many diseases etc to other patients, that there was no cure for DMD and not likely to ever be any cure. He said he could offer no hope at all.

The final episode was produced at the commencement of the COVID problem in New York so hopefully Netflix know about ANP by now!!!

A bit of trivia but I could not help but scream into the TV that ANP will be a cure !!
