Franking credits are a matter of perspective and bias. We do it differently to other countries but other countries often tax dividends at a lower rate. We are one of the few countries that have compulsory voting that doesn’t make it wrong for instance. The major point is this a direct a attack on agroup who have done the right thing and saved for their retirement as apposed to yearly trips and Bali and new car every other year. Socialists hate those that are not dependent on the Govt through welfare or the public service. They have no interest in fairness or governing for the whole country but just their constituents.
