Given the revolutionary performance metrics of 4DS Memory in comparison to Micron and Intel's Optane Memory, one would assume an industry heavyweight would bust an acquisition.

The question arises: what might be the factors impeding an acquisition despite 4DS Memory's groundbreaking performance metrics at 60nm?

From the very beginning, it has been emphasised that a megabit chip is essential for the successful execution of a commercial transaction.

The President of imec has requested a meeting with the DM to discuss strategic plans. imecs plans may not necessarily align with the interests of shareholders who are expecting an acquisition following the development of the megabit chip.
