There are some huge advantages to copper cathode.

As said above, there's less tax on the product (2.5% I believe) as well as a premium paid to the market spot price (~$123/t). Furthermore, there's less reliance on countries such as Russia or China; and likewise, this Copper is ethically produced and meets environmental standards. There's no need to pay smelters fees or royalties ($65/t).

But most importantly; freight is massively reduced. We are paying for effectively 4x to 5x less freight than any other company to ship our product.

These savings and benefits equate to millions of dollars added to the bottom line.

To do some basic maths for this;

2.5% of $100m = $2.5m
$123/t x 25,000t = $3.075m
$65/t x 25,000t = $1.625m
=$7.2m/yr ahead

And freight would see substantial cost savings, especially with fuel reaching these highs.

So all in all, we could conservatively estimate $10m+ per year added to the bottom line just through the advantage of Copper Metal Plate (Cathode).
