energy prices are having an impact for sure but there's supply issues which haven't gone away, labour issues, Covid lockdowns and the biggie...people forget that the global financial system was extremely wobbly just before Covid hit so that's yet to fully play out (it was supposed to be addressed after the GFC but it got worse).

there's a lot to unravel

not all stocks drop during a correction / meltdown and it's my belief that those with income and decent (old fashioned) PE's in a good sector will do OK, better than most anyway.
