.....and when it's reported as a recession it's already happened and had been building for quite some time! Right now the threat of many severe interest rate hikes is hopefully going to have more impact on consumer spending than the delivery of them.

Yeah I agree with you. I guess the main point I'm trying to drive home is.

From coppers perspective the main "recession" we should be concerned about is Chinas.

Lastly even if we see China / global recession I doubt we will see sub $2 copper when AISC for 50%+ of the miners are probably above $2.50 and 90%+ are above $2 these days. Unless all these inflationary pressures subside from the recession which in turn would lower all the AISCs
