Hey BW you are getting things a little mixed up. If you might recall, Baz said that they have all the historical leach parameters developed by MLX and others for the oxide resource. So that is the base and their first focus. BUT, and this is a big but, they want to apply their IP to the large leach as this 6m column is supposed to replicate the heap leach piles in the field which will also be 6 m high. So it is vital to get the parameters right. MLX got it wrong. Poor recoveries. Baz has said that their recoveries are good. If he is satisfied I'd trust him.

If you read the scoping study for Nifty, MLX had conducted no mettalurgical testwork on heap leach recoveries. The recoveries they used were from past owners and MLX neither produced any cathode or did any testing themselves.
