Please excuse this rushed response from my phone keyboard (i.e. fat fingers)
The company couldn’t be in a better position in my opinion.For me the most exciting products are the ones that are furthest along in theirjourney. We are all on the edge of our seats with the imminent phase 2 HerVaxx results,which our historically conservative CEO appears to be very excited about. Next,we have PD1Vaxx. Although only in phase 1 dosing trials, again, the product ishinting at a new standard of care. Non-invasive (almost), nontoxic, no sideeffects, and improved efficacy could be the IMU mantra, and is literallyunheard of in the industry. CF33 is exciting and very likely to soon be in the clinic,which is similar to the surprise announcement this week with the new CD19_CF33onCARlytics (hopefully in clinic next year). The mimitope platform has gone silent,so I’m not sure what’s happening there. Normally management are upfront,honest, and operate to the letter of ASX rules. But it does appear to havetaken a back seat in the last 12 months (maybe I’ve missed something?). Overall,I still LOVE and respect the science. As a scientist, you’re trained to analyseEVERYTHING in EXTREME detail. It’s our job to pick holes in methods, results, interpretations,and the logic of other studies. IMU has continued to impress, I cannot findfault with the science.
The overall industry is also exciting because it looks likethe timing of IMU is perfect. Increasingly bigger deals are being executed for,in my opinion, far inferior products. Big pharma profits are declining, and theFDA are putting pressure on current billion-dollar drugs for not delivering. CanIMU fill the gap? I believe so.
The managementhave also impressed me since I’ve been invested. Never inflammatory, highintegrity, they just let the science and their results do the talking.
The biggestthing I’m excited about, has only become apparent in the last 1-2 weeks, thanksto my partner. I’m 99% a risk adverse investor, I can easily over analyse, and I’mquick to find the negatives in every thing (it’s the science background). Whichoften means I set price targets too low, miss good investments, and sell out tooearly. But I’ve only been investing 4 years and have made good gains, so maybeit’s working! Investing psychology is probably the hardest thing to learn, butI’m adapting, gradually. I’m excited about lots of my investments internallywithin my own mind, but my partner noticed how excited I get when I’m now talkingout loud about IMU.
I think thefuture is very bright, and I have no plans to sell any of my shares, but ofcourse the risk adverse part of me stops me buying more because IMU now heavilyweights my portfolio. If IMU meets my expectations, I’ll eventually sell aportion to retire, with the rest riding the dividend gravy train (assuming IMUis not sold in total).
I too missthe community from the BF days, although many of us are on another group hostedon a large social media site. Victor is still a gold standard human beingsharing his knowledge, as are many other members on the group. Not sure if wecan private message on hotcopper so I can tell you the group name?
