I thought you were West Aussie? Do you mean where the company wanted their own safety officers? I know from experience company appointed safety officers are just puppets. Workcover only comes in after there has been an accident. The only effective safety officers are the big fat union ones. Less likely to turn a blind eye or be dictated to by management.
