On line shopping has indirectly benefited some businesses. I read of one who told the leaser to shove the extortion rent and reset the business to an online store. Online has also enabled people to start their own business. A successful fitness equipment business only needed a self-storage locker and a small home office to run. Land the gear, take the orders, and despatch. The selling was done on EBay.
The latest craze seems to be pod coffee machines. It's marketed as cheap than a cafe cup of coffee. That's true but they neglect the flip side, far more expensive than a home cup of coffee. But every kitchen will soon have a machine. The cheapest pods seem to be $6 for 10. I should order from overseas, jam pack 2 rooms in my home and flog them off...lol
