everyone was too busy patting each other on the back to realise we had reached a billion dollar valuation with no real backing... portfolios were bulging green and people got too caught in the euphoria to look at it objectively.

enter the smear campaign from the shorters and subsequent retaliation from holders... that's just social media these days i guess... and it really flushed these threads down the toilet, and they haven't really recovered since.

hopefully the merger, ML, DFS and more BOA's can stabalise sentiment and valuations, clean out these threads and lead to a slow and steady increase from here.
