Both sides are giving away something for the bigger picture, red has the long life asset, SLR has the balance sheet and cash flow. That's the way they're selling it anyway. But do shareholders need this merger? SLR has enough drill targets and balance sheet strength to self develop and acquire other junior players currently desperately starved of capital, it's literately the most opportune time in the cycle to do so. SLR needs new leadership not a merger of unequals.
