Disclosure - I have never owned OBJ, but have followed for a while and may consider a purchase at 3c support level for quick short term trade.

Guys I am sorry to say this but it is really very simple. Regardless of whether you are a trader or investor the aim of the game is to make the largest ROI per annum as possible.

So given that we are not expecting any news from OBJ for a long long time the SP will likely drift sideways or down. Looking a the chart it will trend between 3c and 4c until we hear something substantial from the company.

I doubt that anyone can dispute the above two points.

    Because of this:

The only person that should consider buying OBJ now is a short a term trader who is looking to buy at support around 3c for a range trade aiming to sell at about 3.8c - 4c

As for investors who do not own the stock, they should not want to have there money moving sideways or down for up to 6 months. They can probably find another good time to buy a lot later at similar prices before news is again expected. Maybe in four to five months time.

Investors who already own this stock can either hold or sell. Neither prospect is a good one as by selling you are probably doing so at the bottom, but by holding you are locking up funds for which the opportunity cost in this very good market (yesterday aside) is quite high. My preference would be to sell at the higher end of the 3c-4c range and then move on. If you really love the company that much, then look to buy in again later.

I feel really sorry for those still holding this stock that listened to the crap spilt on this forum and bought in above 4.5c. What you have to realise is that buying and holding for that 3M announcement was the same as playing roullette at the casino. There is no skill in gambling. Those that were smart sold into the hype before the announcment. If you really had to be in to see the result then you should have sold as soon as the announcemnt was released, took the loss and moved on. Those that are not smart are those that stayed on a large paper loss and then turn around to claim they are long termers. That is classic loser mentatily and how money is lost on the stockmarket everyday. You guys have to continually reasess your investments as the landscape changes.

Anyway sorry for being negative I am just trying to protect newbies from the sometimes very poor posts that can arise on this thing we love called Hotcopper.

    Cheers
