or you could argue that since the UN created Israel they have and have long had an obligation to ensure its existence and to address terrorist acts and incursions into Israeli soil.
the UN has simply changed its tune because what ought to have been predictable is now happening.
it is not a solution to support Hamas. If you think that supporting Hamas or creating a Palestinian state (where) will end it then you are wrong
it is also a message for the UN if they only had the nous to see it
