they never have suggested Egypt attacked first - in 1967. But Egypt was among the Arab states that attacked Israel in 1948
and if provocation is no excuse we are right back to either excusing terrorism or suggesting that no aggravation can justify acts of violence whoever commits them. You can’t have it both ways.
