Don't worry everyone makes a mistake, when you sold, nhc could have crashed and burned and you would have been smart to get out. If you lost half your capital and you sold to preserve what you had left that is still a smart thing to do, things were looking pretty bad back then. Anyway the lowest nhc got to was 1.05 a few months ago, it's 1.35 today, that's just 25% above from what the lowest you could have sold for. NHC looks like it's a cheap price with coal at $85, maybe get back in?
