My explanation is that CYP needs to provide vastly more information than it has. Realistically the ANN it provided whilst excellent on the surface of things just raises a dozen questions.

How many cells were manufactured at Waisman? Do the cells all perform the same? (we assume its all yes based on the ANN but again they needed to be specific about this stuff not a simple "we are capable and it was validated").

All up it was a juicy announcement which propelled the stock up but its now sitting around because everything falls into the "great ANN but.........lets see how this really plays out" mindset.

P1 to begin, p1 results to prove they work the same as other MSC cells.
Potential partnerships
CYP to provide real detail on what happened with the cells (has not been provided).

In short its basically a company ANN'ing a super announcement but now everybody isn't really sure whats going to happen and if the real world applications are as great as we all think they are.
basically just a lot of unanswered questions.

But......overall though in simple terms it looks excellent.
