The title of this thread tables to kaolin sources, ADN & ZEO...now if & when, you take the time (not that you have too) and have a read of ZEO's announcement (note I'm not cross promoting simply responding to a slur on my knowledge) you'll see that one of the two, pulls raw kaolin out of the ground at 90% kaolinite & requires no washing to be processed into a HRM, yes its screened & milled to ensure even particle size pre-roasting, but the cost benefit of a non-hydrous kaolin, makes IMO the potential of meeting the price point required by the cement industry to adopt more realistic, although not guranateed.
As for GIGA, I find him/her very knowledgeable and comments about the cement industry not rushing to change couldn't be truer, as is the case with most industries. Although, I do believe that net zero goals are geniune and companies within Australia (& the world) will need to start developing strategies to address their emission profiles...albeit a stick rather than carrot approach is needed from Govt, and we are not yet at that point.
