I do consider one of the two kaolin players mentioned here, does seem to have the logistics in hand and the largest cement players in Aust within a stones throw, along with what seems to be almost a processed grade kaolin straight out of the ground = lower metakaolin opex.

But, the stars will need to align and I'm on the same page as you, that carbon reduction stick will need to be out big time to add to the overall value proposition to have any chance.

That said, 'today' metakaolin in being used in binder mixes in Europe at up to 50%, so someone is making cheap HRM over there, hopefully someone in Aust can do the same.
